Top 10 reasons why we teach (some) restoration contractors to do what we do for (almost) free…

  1. Our business model is to develop strategic partnerships with like-minded independent restoration contractors in key markets, versus establishing satellite offices or pursuing the franchise model. We invest in technology, education and partnerships instead of bricks and mortar.
  2. We specialize in recovering mission-critical electronics on commercial, industrial and institutional losses. We don’t restore structures, work residential losses or service consumer electronics.  We stay in our lane and partner with others that understand the principle.
  3. We encourage the division of labor. We stick to our specialty and align ourselves with others to support us on non-technical recovery tasks.  Up to 75% of a typical “Hi-Tech” restoration project involves cleaning non-technical components (such as covers & chassis) and performed by general restoration Technicians.
  4. You deliver Technicians experienced with cleaning hard contents and we teach them how to assess & process electronics exposed to soot, water & chemicals. You’re able to restore electronics in-house, and we become your support team on an as-needed basis.
  5. You present the opportunity to sign-up a recovery project containing “Hi-Tech” equipment and we help you assess, scope/price and sell the project… all under your banner. Once signed, we provide technical support and/or resources completely dependent on YOUR requirements and requests.
  6. We’re seasoned veterans of the electronic/equipment restoration industry that are passionate about the industry, but transitioning to working with OEMs to establish industry standards and training certifications. We want to bring accountability back to our niche within the restoration industry.
  7. We believe that “business as usual” in the restoration industry is about to dramatically change. Contractor’s that don’t anticipate the paradigm shift will be venerable to becoming obsolete and irrelevant.  We only partner with organizations that look beyond their business and DRIVE change for the good of the industry.
  8. We don’t need, nor want, to be the Headliner on projects. We’ve been there; done that.  We’re seeking opportunities that enable us to do what we are extremely good at and enjoy the most – resolving complex recovery issues.
  9. We believe in developing partner relationships based on integrity and transparency. Instead of executing concealed referral fee agreements, we focus on partnerships that naturally yield synergistic opportunities and reciprocity.
  10. We want to have fun again. Instead of trying to “right the wrongs” of the self-proclaimed leaders in the electronic restoration industry, we will lead by example.  We intend to educate the marketplace so that anyone can clearly differentiate between the competent and incompetent organizations in the industry.

How we do it?

Simple… You call, we talk and quickly determine whether partnering would create a balanced win-win situation.  If so, we move on to tailor a training program specifically for our MUTUAL objectives.  Generally, we offer a series of “basic training” boot camps at your facility that teach your Technicians, Supervisors and Estimators how to assess, triage, scope/price, sell and restore consumer electronics.  You only pay out-of-pocket expenses and a nominal fee to cover out time.  Collectively and systematically, we advance your organization’s exposure and penetration into commercial, industrial & institutional large loss projects.  On projects generated by your organization we fly under YOUR banner as we work together to execute the projects (we only provide the specific resources or expertise you don’t have in-house).  Similarly, we will occasionally request support (trained Technicians) from your organization to help us complete recovery projects that we secure and need to execute under our banner.
